Wind Mitigation Inspection — Florida
A Wind Mitigation Inspection evaluates specific construction features that affect a residential structure’s performance during high-wind events. The inspection documents roof covering type, roof deck attachment, roof-to-wall connections, roof geometry, and secondary water resistance where visible and accessible.
The inspection is visual and non-invasive, performed in accordance with the current Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR-B1-1802) form. Photographic documentation is provided to support observed conditions. This inspection does not include engineering analysis or repair recommendations.
